{03.30.2008} Sunday? Yes...it is now AM.
The long exposure walk was over and drinks were a must. We found seats up at the bar and kicked back for a couple hours to chat, giggle, and chimp. The bartender made me a bloody mary and didn't even know it till it's owner wanted it virgin. LOVE those mistakes! Other than that I was a pretty good DD!
I sat next to Water, Amaretto Sour, an adult Jolly Rancher (Midori Sour), and a Lebat Blue.

{03.29.2008} Evening of Long Exposures
Tonight my girlfriend, Sarah, and I ventured down to Grand Rapids to meet up with Terry and a couple of his friends in from Detroit and Chicago. There could not have been better company and entertainment!

{03.28.2008} Operation C.H.A.O.S.
This evening Solon Township held a fun ice rescue training...saving each other. It made for some great moments and a lot of laughter. The picture above was my last picture taken. I never said they were normal!Does my face look fat? "Dude, get your chin inside the suit."
After hacking away at the ice with an ax, my husband jumps in.
If this ever happens to you, relax and allow the professionals to pull you to shore. Easily said right?lol

{03.26.2008} Sun and a Walk
Today the kids and I went for a walk...a looooong walk. Tyler was all upset with me after seeing the barn pictures yesterday. He needed to see it up close as well. The sun was out, the wind was wicked, so we tossed our coats and boots on and out the door we went to go cow hunting. I'd post pics of cows if we had seen them, but they must have been in the barn sleeping.
You couldn't see the kids under all that winter gear, so I made an attempt to capture our pup, Stafford...and he wasn't into looking at me. Staff was more interested in watching the geese fly over.

{03.25.2008} Neighboring Farm
Wasn't this mornings weather horrible?I waited out the flying slush and battled only the wind mid afternoon. This farm is what we look at out our back windows when the trees are bare. The farm just beyond this one has cows that are incredibly loud. Definitely a location I'll be scoping out when the weather gets a bit warmer!

{03.22.2008} Burn it DOWN!
This morning after a VERY long night of accidents and electrical wires down Solon Township Fire Department geared up for a scheduled training burn. This team of rockstars is near and dear to my heart since this is the group my husband flies with.
Captains need to multi-task. Lovin the fire reflection in Rich's shades.

{03.20.2008} Grandma Anderson's
A little free time this morning allowed me to wander around Grandma Anderson's old property. Last summer really bleached out areas on the north side of the house, including their "keep out" sign. Doesn't everyone forget what they read when there's fascinating areas to discover?I can say that I have never been inside. Something about the sign scares me. LOVE old houses. I just wish they could talk because the stories would make the trespassing more interesting.
How is it that everything fades with the exception of the yellow and teal?

This is the picture you get at the end of the day when you're the very last person to get the bone-chilling, body-aching, headache mess that's been going around. Sunset was when I realized the day had gotten away from me...and then I went back to my blanket on the couch.....................................................................
EDITED: My apologies...this week has been rough. I promise to not shoot another tree for at least a month.
